1. How do I prevent shedding and tangling?

Our eloc hair collection only includes hair that is cutically aligned, which minimizes tangling. The quality of the installation              technique can minimize shedding as well, such as machine weft. Since, eloc hair is human natural hair, it is impossible to              eliminate tangling and shedding. When maintaining your eloc hair, brush your extensions before washing them and only when      the hair is 90% dry. Use your fingers to gently loosen any tangles. As a best practice, brush starting at the ends and make your      way up to the roots before and after wearing your extensions.

2. Can I straighten or curl my eloc hair?

Yes, since eloc hair is human and naturally textured, extensions can be styled, curled, straightened and blow-dried. We                 recommend using a low heat setting of 250F/120C to avoid the risk of damaging the hair. Using a heat protectant oil or            spray prior to styling will reduce the risk of damaging your eloc hair.

3. Do I need to wash my eloc hair?

Since eloc hair is natural human hair, it is best to treat the hair as carefully as you do your own. Apply sulphate-free, parabon-        free and alchohol-free shampoo, conditioner and leave-in conditioner. Products specifically formulated for dry and damaged          hair, are recommended for maintaining healthy and nourished extensions. While washing, avoid wetting the installation                techniques such as weft and keratin. When handling your eloc hair, gently rub and squeeze excess water from the extensions.        While air drying, simply unobtrusively hang or lay on a flat surface and remove excess water with a micro fiber towel. Only          apply pearl sized amounts of products; less is more when caring for your eloc hair.

4. How do I keep eloc hair moisturized?

Coconut oil is the natural and preferred moisturizer for Indian eloc hair. For other origins, apply a pearl-sized amount of                lightweight or water-based hair serum. Other oils such as argan, avocado and castro are safe as well. Pay close attention to          your eloc hair when brushing for dryness. Actively avoid products that include SLES, Sodium Lauryl Sulphate, Sodium Laureth          Sulphate and Ethanol.

5. Can I comb my eloc hair?

Yes, eloc hair extensions can be combed. We recommend using stainless combs or the hard plastic wide-toothed combs.              eloc hair offers stainless steel combs for purchase.

6. How long will the hair last?

Our eloc hair collection is 100% natural human hair that can last up to 3-5 years. The lifespan is mainly determined by how          well you maintain the hair.

7. Can I condition wash my hair without shampoo?

Yes, it is recommended to condition wash your hair when attempting to simply restore moisture.
